Who is Supakeep for?+
Small and medium Supabase projects — indie hackers, side projects, early-stage SaaS, and small teams. If your database fits comfortably on a Supabase Pro plan and you don't have a dedicated DevOps person to build a backup pipeline, Supakeep is for you.
How big can my database be?+
Supakeep is optimized for databases up to a few tens of GB — the sweet spot for most small and medium projects. Larger, enterprise-scale databases with sharding and continuous replication are out of scope.
Where are my backup files stored?+
Backup files are uploaded to the Google Drive account you connect. The backup runner writes them under a supabackups folder path for each backup job. We never store copies on our infrastructure.
What does Supakeep need from me?+
You sign in, connect Google Drive, and add the Supabase database URI for the project you want backed up. That's it — usually under 20 seconds.
What Google permission is requested?+
Supakeep only gets access to files it creates in your Google Drive. It cannot read, edit, or delete your other Drive files.
Is it really free?+
Yes — Supakeep is free while we're in beta, with no credit card and no artificial limits. Perfect for validating your side project without adding another monthly bill.
Can I control how many backups are kept?+
Yes. Keep the latest 7, 14, or 30 backups — or keep everything by disabling auto-delete. Old backups are cleaned up automatically from your Drive so you don't blow past your storage quota.
